As of now you can save the weighing data measured with the LAUMAS TLM8, TLB4, W100, WDESK/WINOX/WTAB L-R and G-2G weight indicators and transmitters to the cloud.
Thanks to the partnership with Infor, a company specialized in providing custom solutions for digital transformation of enterprises, our customer have a CLOUD SYSTEM FOR WEIGHING SYSTEMS that in the cloud records and manages the values read and transmitted by the instruments: gross-net weight, total, result of the count.
The added value
Saving data to the cloud permits:
- having a secure digital archive for data;
- viewing the data via a web browser in the form of lists, graphs, measurement values;
- combining and processing data for any industrial need: from monitoring production and consumption to processing statistics and generating performance indices;
- communicating weighing data to any company ERP, to compare them for statistical purposes and set them in relation to the most diverse production factors, so as to program and manage the system for increasingly better performance;
- connecting the data to third-party software solutions, for any additional processing.
Bespoke solutions for every customer
Besides the default features, you can request Infor to customize various aspects:
- interface with the company ERP;
- data control panel;
- additional possibilities of processing data and generating statistics;
- user language (Italian and English are already included).
How does it work?
Compatible LAUMAS weighing instruments transmit the data to the cloud through an IoT gateway, with which they are connected via a serial connection.
The gateway in its turn is connected to the network that goes to the cloud via an Ethernet cable and a LAN with internet access, or via a 4G mobile network using a SIM.
Data can be transmitted and saved in 2 ways:
1. «PRINT» mode: the operator sends the data to the cloud with the print command on the instrument.
2. «CONTINUOUS» mode: the data are periodically transmitted to the cloud, with a configurable interval and frequency.

The CLOUD SYSTEM FOR WEIGHING SYSTEMS is a solution that is:
▷ handy to implement: the system is entirely cloud based and in no way interferes with the existing local IT infrastructure.
